Dancing School

Every Tuesday (since February) we've been going to the Little Gym, or as we like to call it "dancing school." It is a combination of tap, ballet, creative movement (free style- my favorite part of the class because the girls really get into it), and gymnastics. Kyla has really been loving it. Her favorite things about the class: 1.) watching herself dance in the mirror 2.) waving at me and Heidi through the glass window 3.) her outfit & dance bag 4.) the stamps that she receives on both hands and feet at the end of the class 5.)lining up behind the teacher as they move from station to station singing the Jazzy Bugs song. As you will notice, I didn't say the dancing. She does get into it but her attention span is that of a 3 year and she gets distracted easily- that's why she is waving at us several times during the class. It's fun to watch and of course as soon as Heidi hears its dancing school day she seeks out her own little tu tu and starts singing, "dancing school, dancing school, dancing school!" So cute. The "recital" is in June...come watch if you can...it's pretty funny.
