Our neighborhood is great for trick or treating, minus the couple of houses that go ALL out in scary yard decorations. I really don't get that. It's such a gross holiday. We skipped those houses...although Addi would have gone to any of them- she wasn't scared, unlike the Chipettes. They preferred houses like the one shown above.
Kyla was super funny. She explained herself, her sister, and her cousin to each house, "You know...remember the Chipmunks...well we're the Chipettes!" Like, GET IT?? They'd smile, put a candy in her bucket and she would leave, wave, and sing song back "HAAAAAPPPY HALLOWEEEEN!"
Her and the cats would run to the next house while Eleanor and Jeanette lagged behind, stopping to check out the loot.
This pumpkin got pretty heavy with candy and this little chipmunk
would ask me to carry it for her between houses.

A pretty fun least favorite holiday.
Now on to my FAVORITE holidays.

That last one is awesome!! Oh our little chipettes...pea just said next year she wants everyone to be animals and Kyla be the zookeeper. Actually that's not a bad idea...
