Saturday we went to Seabeck for sweet Samantha Jane's 3rd birthday party. It was a ton of fun and a fun family day. We took the long way...driving downtown, walking along the waterfront, eating lunch in the truck, and taking the sixty minute ferry ride to Bremerton and then the thirty minute drive to Seabeck. (The drive home took only an hour). The ferry was a fun new experience for the girls. Heidi insisted the entire time that we were not on a boat but that in fact a giant duck had swallowed us and that we were inside his belly.
From the Ferry deck-no one would turn around.
Highlights of the party: this hammock, Samantha's Cinderella cake, and hanging out and catching up with the Raney and Harris families.
Other highlights from this Labor Day weekend: Going to the Rock and Baskin Robbins, getting lots of chores and projects done, Pioneer Woman jalapeno poppers with friends, YaYa taking the girls to Nanny McPhee and hearing Heidi talk about it, and watching the old Charlie and the Chocolate Factory with the girls for their first time.
So many things to look forward to: Tomorrow's first day of Preschool, Arizona with girls, and Disneyland!!!!!! And only four weeks and four days until we know if this babe is a boy or girl.
