Summer: It's finally here!

Hooray! Around here we go from temperatures in the fifties on the Fourth of July to temperatures in the nineties the very next week. The old saying IS true. In Seattle summer begins on July 5th. We've been soaking it up- yesterday was no exception.

We started off by going to Kent Station for a little play time in the fountain with Emma. When we got there we found out the fountains were broken...bummer. But we made due and played for a few minutes in the water feature by the movie theater.

Next our little friend Camdyn invited us to swim with her at her aunt and uncle's house. Here she is, enjoying summer with a little watermelon.

Kyla loved this pool and all the kids there too. She went down the slide about thirty times.

We ended the day with a birthday dinner for Papa Mike (pictures are lacking here) complete with a Pioneer Woman blackberry cobbler.

We're so glad summer has arrived.

P.S. Ten on Ten is tomorrow. I won't forget this time.
