Lake Roosevelt

10 adults + 11.5 kids + a freezing cold lake + a 6 hour drive

+ the most delicious food + 6 days of sunshine and one thunderstorm = a ton of fun.

Eight years ago a group of us went rented a house boat and spent a week on Lake Roosevelt. That was before 9.5 of these kids were even born. We decided to venture back this time taking everyone along and renting a house that had nine bedrooms. It was a great week of floating, boating, tubing, fishing, eating, and fire building. The kids loved every second of it.  Here are the photo highlights…

Cousins and Cousins and More Cousins

Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles was watched over and over on this trip. Kyla was not afraid of it and now wants a TMNT birthday party!

Water sports were also a favorite on this trip. All the girl LOVED the jet ski (including Molly who called it a motorcycle). Kyla could not get enough tubing and would have done it all day long. Heidi did it several times but was never the same after a fall into the ice cold water.
