daisy festival.

I took my friend Amy and her son Owen for pictures on Sunday, a beautiful SUNNY day, and came across field after field of daisies –the cutest girly photoshoot dream ever. I had to take my girls back. There were a few problems though. We have a jam packed week, not to mention rain in the forecast everyday and how long would those daisies be there? I had no idea. So we took this afternoon- our only opportunity for the next two weeks and went for it.

The girls were surprisingly up for it. But that didn’t mean perfect smiling camera faces, it only meant willing (and silly attitudes). Kyla pretty much did the Macarena the whole time (I’m not kidding). Poor Heidi seemed to be off in La La Land. She did stay home from school because of her allergies. Taking her to a field full of daisies probably wasn’t the best idea. And Molly- Molly insisted on cowboy boots and seemed to be afraid to walk through the flowers. 

Also, see that BLACK sky. Well we had exactly five minutes to take some pics before the rain started falling.

And right about now that black sky opened up and rained down on us.
